What does #creativity have to do with #leadership? Everything!
In The Fifth Book of Peace, Maxine Hong Kingston implores, “In a time of destruction, create something: a poem, a parade, a community, a school, a vow, a moral principle; one peaceful moment.” I’m privileged to hold a role that invites me, often, to create a beloved community of learners, over and over again. #cohort.
A few weeks ago, we invited 19 Heads of Schools to our annual #HeadsFellowship Klingenstein Center, Teachers College, Columbia University to learn together, away from their schools, for two weeks. I am so grateful for the ways #HeadsFellows25 engaged deeply in creative practices and in exploring how #creativity amplifies, emboldens, and deepens #leadership.
Thank you to my incredible colleagues at the Center! #TeamKling
