I am filled with gratitude every single day for the extraordinary doctors who are aligned with my mission and continue to dedicate their time and expertise to #LearnLookLocate. When I began this journey over five years ago, I didn’t fully understand the complexity of it all. Honestly, I wish I had this understanding even before my own diagnosis. But I realized there is such a small window of time when it comes to breast cancer, and I wanted to create a platform that would give people the information and conversations they need to make empowered decisions about their breast health—information that wasn’t always easy to find. Over the past four years, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Barry Rosen, my Senior Medical Advisor, as my mentor. He has taught me so much about understanding this complex disease. With his guidance, I’ve been able to connect with more incredible breast cancer specialists who share the same vision—bringing vital information and conversations to the forefront to help people better understand breast cancer. Words can’t express the depth of my gratitude for their guidance, support, friendship, and unwavering dedication to this cause. I’m just one breast cancer survivor who saw a critical gap and couldn’t rest until I did something about it. Every day, I’m driven by the knowledge that there are so many others being diagnosed, and my passion to make a difference pushes me forward. Together with this incredible team of doctors, we are creating a global movement—one that is not only backed by medical expertise but also touched by the personal stories of survivors from around the world. Every page is medially vetted and approved by one of the LLL Medical Advisors on https://lnkd.in/emqw7ySx Thank you to all the doctors for your continued dedication and thank you to everyone who has supported and believed in this mission. 2024 has been an incredible year, and I can’t wait to see what 2025 holds as we continue to educate, inspire, and connect people around the world. Here’s to even more progress, more lives touched, and more conversations that can make a real difference. #health #cancer #doctors #oncology #breastcancerawareness #gratitude

If you’ve ever found yourself asking, ‘Is my cancer gone?’ or ‘Is my cancer coming back?’ — you’re not alone. These are questions that resonate deeply with many individuals, including myself, from the moment of diagnosis. Dr. Rosen, Breast Surgical Oncologist, Senior Medical Advisor for Learn Look Locate, often hears these concerns from his patients, understanding the weight they carry. Here, we aim to provide not just answers, but comfort and a sense of community. What is ctDNA? Circulating Tumor DNA (ctDNA) is a groundbreaking discovery in the realm of cancer research, offering a beacon of hope for breast cancer survivors. Comprising small fragments of DNA shed by cancer cells into the bloodstream, ctDNA serves as a crucial indicator of the presence or recurrence of cancer. Its significance in breast cancer survivorship lies in its ability to enable more precise and personalized monitoring and treatment strategies. The advent of ctDNA testing marks a transformative approach in cancer care, allowing for a more proactive and individualized management of the disease. #sponsored #breastcancer #dna #cancertreatment #cancerawareness
