This Boxing Day, we were honoured to attend and donate €10,000 to L-Istrina — an annual telethon that unites the Maltese community in support of those in need. Stefan Nelson, Group CFO and Managing Director at LeoVegas Group Malta, commented on the donation: “L-Istrina is a cherished Maltese tradition that brings the whole island together in support of individuals and families facing difficult circumstances. We are honoured to contribute to an initiative that improves the lives of so many.” Thank you to The Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation for organising the event and helping so many in the community. As the festive season continues, we wish a peaceful and united holiday to all. To learn more about LeoVegas Group and our CSR initiatives, please visit https://lnkd.in/dtkfgQgn.

Don’t miss this article by Joe Levy in EGR Global, where LeoVegas Group CEO Gustaf Hagman elaborates on his comments about the black market, made during the SBC conference in Lisbon! Gustaf Hagman: “Too little, too late, too irregular. The channelization rate is continuously dropping, with black market operators and suppliers ruthlessly targeting the customers who politicians and the regulator claim they want to protect the most.” https://lnkd.in/e3Hnu-63

We believe in turning our commitment to wildlife conservation into action. Four of our LeoVegas Group colleagues, Gayatri M., Daniela Samsonov, Matthew Spiteri, and Jennifer Tynemouth, had the opportunity to travel to South Africa and volunteer with The Lions Foundation. Sharing their exciting LeoInitiative adventure, they said: “Over seven unforgettable days, we immersed ourselves in hands-on efforts to support animal welfare. We built platforms for the animals, cleaned enclosures, prepared animal feed, and even rescued and cared for working donkeys in a nearby township. The arrival of three tigers—Vladimir, Valesca, and Afrodite—was an emotional as well as exciting highlight, as we witnessed these majestic animals step into their new, safe enclosures. This experience wasn’t just about contributing to conservation; it was about learning, growing, and understanding the dedication required to protect wildlife. We returned with new skills, unforgettable memories, and a passion for making a difference. We’re incredibly grateful to the Lions Foundation team for their hospitality, guidance, and the incredible work they do every day to safeguard these animals. Initiatives like these inspire us to continue supporting wildlife conservation and to share these stories, hoping to inspire others to join in protecting our planet’s biodiversity.” #LeoInitiative2024 #WildlifeConservation #TeamLeo #StichtingLeeuw #TheLionsFoundation

And what a recipe for success it was—a fantastic 4-0 win against Man City! Well done! #SGWeek24
