Earlier this year, LPA’s healthcare team welcomed visitors into the “Big Room” where we're collaborating with Hoag Health System, Jacobs and McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. on the $1 billion Sun Family Campus Expansion in Irvine. The Big Room - or “Obeya” in Japanese – is a Lean approach that co-locates members of the integrated team to speed communication and reduce siloed thinking. The sell-out AIA Orange County event featured LPA’s Greg Schneekluth AIA CDT, Wendy Sunshine Dailey, Casey Chapin, AIA, LEED AP and Michael Michalek.

The San Diego Union-Tribune recently took readers inside the Granger Hotel, a private boutique hotel recently opened in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter. LPA designers pulled out the glue gun and X-Acto knifes to explore ideas for a new theater project.
