He got a blue neckerchief and a new voice as part of Pillsbury’s brand renovation, which included a fresh visual and sonic identity. In our latest collaboration with our longtime partners at ESPN, we were tasked with creating an iconic introductory sound for their streaming content and app experiences. It needed to modernize the brand’s classic sound and reflect ESPN’s position as the leader in sports programming. So with this in mind, we created an expression that sonically brings ESPN into the digital age. Our strategic sound design pairs with the app’s new logo animation to instantly build anticipation for the games and shows fans love. The opening gesture grabs viewers’ attention, followed by a musical nod to the familiar SportsCenter theme in an homage to the brand’s heritage. So listen closely, and you’ll hear that familiar earworm... The new sound instantly elevates the home viewing experience beyond linear television, and can now be heard on integrated TV apps. After over 13 fulfilling years at Made Music Studio, I am stepping down as President to embark on a new journey: pursuing a small business dream of my own. I’m fortunate to continue running select projects for Made in a Brand Partnerships role, staying connected to the team and the work I love, while carving out space to bring my project to life. Joel Beckerman and Kim Paster have been supportive and generous, especially during this transition. To the clients and colleagues—past and present—who have been part of this journey: thank you for shaping my story. The lessons I’ve learned alongside you, both wonderful and difficult, will guide me as I turn the page to this next chapter. As was the case when I first joined Made Music 13 years ago, this next step is a departure—something new and a little weird.
