Cheers to a great 2024 and an even better 2025! 🎉 🌳 🍺
It’s been a remarkable year and we can’t wait for 2025! MadTree Brewing Company continues to be the only B Corp brewery in the state of Ohio, living up to the highest standards of social and environmental impact. As we get ready to grow once again into new spaces and places, it’s exciting to reflect on all that was accomplished in 2024 through our Impact work. Here are some highlights: Ascending Women This series has been a part of MadTree’s programming and ethos for three years now! Throughout the three years, we’ve had the privilege of sharing stories and learning from over 50 remarkable women, inspiring more than 2800 folks in our community, and raising over $30,000 to pour back into our 1% for the Planet nonprofits. ReLeaf We've been leafing our mark on Cincinnati for four years now alongside Cincinnati Parks and Cincinnati Parks Foundation. We've had the pleasure of helping 5,550 trees go from MadTree’s parking lot to new homes across Cincinnati's 52 neighborhoods, with a concerted focus on neighborhoods with less than 40% tree canopy coverage. Let’s Grow Local What started as an employee outing to plant 60 trees back in 2019 has steadily grown and gained traction. Each year, more partners join the fun, more neighborhoods come into play, and more trees are planted. Our little seedling of an idea has branched into something much bigger, which is why we’ve officially named it Let’s Grow Local, coining this annual event, and brewing a special beer in its honor. This year we cheersed with a honey wheat brew, and planted over 200 trees in Avondale in a single day! Volunteering We scheduled 51 volunteer opportunities for our staff on behalf of our 1% for the Planet nonprofit partners including Cincinnati Off-Road Alliance, Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, Cincinnati Parks and Cincinnati Parks Foundation, ROTHENBERG ROOFTOP GARDEN, Ohio River Foundation, Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, ADVENTURE CREW, Groundwork Ohio River Valley, Wasson Way, Imago, Cincinnati Toolbank, & Corporation for Findlay Market – logging darn close to 2000 hours of work! Thank You to our partners, sponsors, speakers, and MadTree consumers – impact only happens when we invite others to join us on the journey and you all stepped up to say yes!
