Economic Development is closely connected with social justice issues, whether it's addressing economic inequality, creating job opportunities equitably, pathways for upward mobility, access to education and workforce training, or supporting and empowering minority-owned businesses. Thanks to our partners, the African American Chamber of Commerce of Montgomery County, the Asian American Political Alliance, and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Montgomery County, for hosting this morning's Minority Legislative Breakfast (MLB) and for the opportunity to discuss legislative issues impacting minority communities, discover shared legislative priorities and hear directly from Federal, State, and Local legislators on plans to address critical topics including social justice, equal opportunity, fair treatment, and inclusion. #MontgomeryCountyMd #economicdevelopment #economicinclusion #MLBMD2024
