This ground-mounted solar (photovoltaic) array being installed at the Free Rein Farm within Montgomery County Maryland’s Agricultural Reserve has been designed to integrate with the rolling hills, allowing for maximum production and aesthetic enjoyment. The project, built in conjunction with the Montgomery County Green Bank, will provide community solar for neighbors, as well as long-term sustainable energy for the farm. The ground-mounted array will share space with the stable’s horses, as well as over an acre of native tree, shrubs, and pollinator-friendly plants in a beautiful example of an agrivoltaic system. #AuroraEnergy #Agrivoltaic #RenewableEnergy #SustainableEnergy #SolarEnergy #MontgomeryGreenBank #MarylandSolar
