We’re thrilled to see the nearly completed 1.5 MW community solar project at Free Rein Farm in Montgomery County’s Agricultural Reserve! In partnership with Enterprise Community Loan Fund, Inc., this project will reduce over 1,300 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions annually, support pollinator-friendly habitats, and provide affordable solar subscriptions through Neighborhood Sun. In the first-year, the partnership aims to provide $5 million in loans, helping to reduce energy costs and mitigate environmental impact, with projected hundreds of thousand in annual savings for residents.
