🌎 🌱 How can the process of imagining and designing experiences of alternative futures (“experiential futures”) can deepen a learner's appreciation of complex problems and increase their sense of agency? Using climate change as the focal theme, a panel discussion will examine ways of supporting constructive change and action. Associate Professor of Architecture and Director of Urban Design, El Hadi Jazairy’s, work is in an exhibition at the Martin J. (1959) and Eleanor C. Gruber Gallery of the MIT Museum. “Cosmography: Speculative Fiction for the New Space Age” is a solo exhibition on the work of DESIGN EARTH, a research practice founded and directed by Jazairy and Rania Ghosn, Associate Professor of Architecture and Urbanism at MIT. Jazairy’s solo exhibition begs the question of how we can repurpose space debris and byproducts of space technologies.
