#MPA, Singapore Maritime Officers' Union / Wavelink Group (SMOU), and The Mission to Seafarers Singapore (MtSS) recently came together to host a heartwarming Christmas celebration for #seafarers at MtSS's drop-in Centre in Jurong Port. 🎉🎄🎶🎁 This special event brought holiday joy to seafarers who spend Christmas away from their families. The centre was transformed with festive decorations, music, activities, and a delicious Christmas buffet. A lucky draw added to the fun, with great prizes, gift packs, and Christmas goodies.  A big thank you to all seafarers for their hard work and dedication. As we head into 2025, MPA remains committed to supporting seafarers to thrive in the evolving maritime industry. #MPA is honoured to receive a Token of Appreciation during the annual President’s Challenge Appreciation Night (#PCAN) 2024, held at The Istana last month. The Token of Appreciation was presented by Guest of Honour, President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, to volunteer organisations and donors to recognise their efforts in community service and outreach, in support of The President’s Challenge, an annual community outreach and fundraising campaign to help the less fortunate.   MPA’s Chief Executive, Mr Eng Dih Teo, received the token on MPA’s behalf. We are privileged to have our beneficiaries from REACH and MINDS join our Family Day and Movie Night in November and December 2024. #MaritimeSG

Congratulations to Jurong Port on the official launch of the Ready-Mixed Concrete Ecosystem! #MPA was pleased to join the recent launch of this exciting initiative at JP. 🎉 This S$200 million shared-services hub will streamline logistics, reduce costs, and improve efficiency within Singapore’s construction sector. The project enhances the movement of essential construction materials through the port, strengthens #supplychain resilience, and supports #sustainability by reducing #emissions—benefiting both the construction and maritime sectors. #Seafarers play a vital role in the efficacy and #sustainability of the #maritime industry, and in recognition of their hard work and dedication, MPA hosted our annual year end appreciation dinner for them and our partners in seafarer welfare last week, held at the Club@52 at The Seacare Hotel.   Mr Eng Dih Teo, #MPA’s Chief Executive, graced the event as the guest of honour, and together with Ms Mary Liew from the Singapore Maritime Officers' Union / Wavelink Group and about 120 guests, celebrated the seafarers and their unions for their contributions in the #PortofSingapore. A lucky draw was also held, where seafarers walked away with prizes sponsored by the Singapore Maritime Officers’ Union (#SMOU), the Singapore Organisation of Seamen (#SOS), Ocean Network Express (#ONE), Jurong Port, NYK SHIPMANAGEMENT PTE LTD as well as PSA Singapore.   Thank you to all the seafarers for your continuous hard work and support! #MaritimeSG
