As the year comes to a close, we're so incredibly grateful for our employees. We support each other when times get tough. We give each other the grace to make mistakes and learn from them. We model healthy relationships for individuals and families who may never have experienced them. The bonds we form give us the power to reunite families, restore hope and change lives. Working in mental health is hard work and we cherish joyful moments like the holidays where we can enjoy each other's company. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your dedication to the youth and families we serve.

Our Nexus-Woodbourne treatment foster care families had the opportunity to spend time with Kyle Van Noy from the Baltimore Ravens this holiday season. They shared moments of joy, opened gifts, and created lasting memories filled with laughter. A special thank you to the Van Noy Valor Foundation for making this unforgettable experience possible for our youth and families. #Baltimore

We are so thankful to the Minnesota Vikings for once again showing up for our youth this holiday season! Last Monday, our team picked up an entire van full of gifts just in time for the holidays. From never worn shoes from Justin Jefferson's closet to packages hand-wrapped by Will Reichard, their generosity is overwhelming. There is no doubt in our mind that our youth at New Trails group home were thrilled on Christmas morning.

How can hope improve your mental health? Studies on the science of hope began in the 1980s, and it was determined that hope is an action-oriented skill that can be learned, versus just something that you “feel.” In order to cultivate positive change in ourselves, in others, or society at large, restoring hope is the vital first step.
