On International Women’s Day, Women.NYC co-hosted with the Athena Film Festival at Barnard College the NYC’s screening of: Lilly. A feature film based on the activist behind the Fair Pay Act. It’s scary to think that it was passed by the congress just in 2009 and how fragile the battles we thought were once won are. We're delivering over 1000 mixed-income homes for New Yorkers! In partnership with NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development, we released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a city-owned site on 100 Gold Street in Lower Manhattan to transform into a mixed-income residential with over 1000 units, 25% of them required to be affordable. This initiative builds off Mayor Adams 2025 State of the City address where he announced his ambitious plan to address the city's housing crisis and deliver more affordable housing for New Yorkers. https://lnkd.in/esR2Pnzq Proposals are due no later than June 5th, 2025.
