💚🌍 Valentine’s Day with NYMPHE – Let’s Love Our Planet! ❤️♻️ Valentine’s Day is a celebration of love, but have you ever thought about how we can show love to our planet? Earth gives us life, clean water, fresh air and the resources we rely on every day. Unfortunately, environmental pollution threatens this delicate ecosystem. As part of the Nymphe project, we are working on innovative bioremediation methods – natural processes that help cleanse the environment of pollutants. By harnessing biological solutions, we can restore balance to nature and protect the health of both people and future generations. 💚 On this special day, let’s remember that Earth gives back the love we show it! How can we take action? 🌱 Protect our waters and soils – minimize waste, avoid harmful chemicals, don’t pour toxic substances down the drain, and choose organic food. 🌱 Support eco-friendly technologies like bioremediation. Promote circular economy principles that encourage recycling, resource reuse, and waste reduction. 🌱 Educate ourselves and inspire others to take action for a cleaner planet. Let’s make this Valentine’s Day not just about human love, but also about love for our planet! 🌎💚 Learn more about the NYMPHE project and our initiatives: https://lnkd.in/dn8xyE2K #bioremediation #environment #love #planet #Earth #valentinesday #sustainability

Environmental Quality Programs
Horizon Europe Program targeted to revitalize contaminated environments through tailor-made bioremediation strategies
About us
Project funded under the Horizon Europe Program and dedicated to the bioremediation/revitalization of polluted environments. The challenge is to develop tailor-made bioremediation strategies, based on the assemblies of multiple biologics, in order to remove at least 90% of the pollutants present in the different EU-contaminated areas (e.g. plastics and pesticides in the agricultural soil, and chlorinated solvents/total petroleum hydrocarbon in groundwater and sediments of the industrial site) and to achieve the highest environmental quality standards to increase the level of biodiversity of these sites. The project brings together researchers and experts from 18 organizations coming from 12 different European countries, representing nine research institutes and universities, two non-governmental organizations, six small-medium enterprises and a large Italian company, Eni Rewind and coordinated by the University of Bologna.
