❗ While Asian employees make up a quarter of new recruits and 16% of Aotearoa's public service staff, they remain significantly underrepresented in senior leadership roles—just 3.3% are in tier 1-3 positions. These numbers highlight an urgent need for organisations to address disparities in talent development and succession planning. Intersectional representation matters—not just at entry levels but in leadership, where decisions shape our workplaces and communities. Join the #PayGapInsightsHub in advocating for fair and transparent workplaces. Everyone deserves equal access to employment and leadership opportunities. https://lnkd.in/gCHTgAAF

But for ethnic women and men, for those with disabilities, Equal Pay Day was even earlier. The pay gap amplifies the inequalities for so many groups. We know employers don’t set out to pay women less. But almost all discover pay gaps when they do the measurement. We’re encouraging ALL employers to publish their gender pay gap data and take real steps to close it. Is your employer taking action on their pay gap? Check out the Registry on www.paygapinsightshub.nz #PayGapInsightsHub #Transparency #Fairness #FairPay #PayGaps
