What a month November has been for the team!
FemTech Startup Founder, Proud to be part of the Accelerating Femtech Programme, Chosen 3rd out of 300 European startups at Impact Shakers pitch competition! Raising now SEIS/EIS. Midwife at Private Midwives,
It has been a whirlwind couple of weeks for the team. I had the absolute privilege of attending the kick-off sessions for the#AcceleratingFemTech programme delivered by Health Innovation Network South London at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists | RCOG (hence the pictures of obstetralia above). Sitting in that room surrounded by incredible founders who were all building, innovating and pushing for better, fairer healthcare was humbling. As Sara Nelson pointed out in her closing address “Healthcare is political” and never more so than now. I had the opportunity to to discuss innovation, collaboration and the future of women’s health with Hebe Davies-Colley, Katherine Church, Rishi Das-Gupta and Prof Asma Khalil, meet our business coach Lavinia Pamparau and looking forward to connecting with our mentor Maria Mackay. The programme is packed full of resources, opportunities and connections and we are so excited to get started. A huge thank you to the many panellists from these two days Hayley Ormandy, Anna King, Chris Sawyer, Natasha Curran and Kate Lancaster. Such a lot of knowledge, expertise and experience to guide us. And to the amazing founders: Dr Andrew Darby-Smith, Maia Heath, Fatima Tariq Pabani, Virginia Pensabene, Libby Tanswell-Gidney, Dr Craig Newman, Dr Sujitha Selvarajah and Amber Vodegel to name just a few! Cannot wait to see where this journey takes us!
