Intersectional feminist platform & global movement for inclusive participation of young women in politics.

About us

Politics4Her is an intersectional feminist platform & global youth-led movement advocating for the inclusive participation of young women and girls in politics, civil society, and decision-making processes. Politics4Her is a movement driven by the belief that young women and girls hold the power to create a more equitable and just world. Our platform is a place where every girl and woman can be heard, valued and recognized as an agent of change. We are driven by the conviction that intersectional feminism is not just a theory, but a powerful tool for dismantling systems of oppression and creating a world where every individual can flourish. We recognize the challenges that young women and girls face when it comes to accessing political power and leadership roles, and we are committed to breaking down those barriers by providing them with the resources, skills, and networks and develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to thrive as agents of change. What makes Politics4Her so special is its commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusivity in all aspects of its work. At the heart of Politics4Her's mission is the belief that everyone deserves a seat at the table and a voice in shaping the policies and decisions that affect their lives. By promoting gender equality, intersectionality, and social justice, Politics4Her seeks to create a more equitable and inclusive world for all.

My latest article is now live on Politics4Her! "The system was not meant to protect women in Palestine, but to break them." Women and girls in Gaza are trapped in an unrelenting cycle of suffering—denied not only the right to safety but also the dignity of basic healthcare. Hospitals are overwhelmed, supplies are running out, and expectant mothers are forced to give birth under unimaginable conditions. In times of war, women’s bodies become battlefields, and in Gaza, this has never been more evident. This article explores the devastating impact of the war on women and girls in Gaza, from the destruction of healthcare facilities to the skyrocketing rates of sexual violence, and the erasure of reproductive rights in a region already grappling with deep-seated inequalities. • In 3 months Sudan will reach 2 years of war. That is 2 years of famine, genocide, under-nutrition, gender-based violence, and so much more. While the Sudanese Army and the UAE-backed Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continue to fight, civilians have paid the ultimate price. It is vital that attention is paid to the war and genocide in Sudan. The UN has labeled this as the world’s worst displacement crisis. Politics4Her stands with the Sudanese people, who have long had to advocate and fight for themselves. Super Excited to share that I have been selected to be one of the five mentors of the Beyond Borders Program designed by Politics4Her Beyond Borders is a capacity- building initiative designed to support refugee women in overcoming the barriers they face in accessing the labor marker and pursuing their career goals. Through a series of practical workshops delivered by Basant Shenouda, the project will equip participants with essential skills and knowledge for job searching, career development, and workplace integration. By empowering refugee women to take charge of their professional journeys, the project aims to enhance their employment aspects, economic empowerment, and social inclusion, fostering a brighter future for them and their communities.

In recent weeks, the situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where women have long borne the brunt of violence and displacement, has sharply deteriorated, plunging the country into chaos and leaving women and girls at extreme risk.   As the world stands witness to #DRC’s worsening humanitarian crisis —  women across the country are taking action and driving peace on the front lines. Amid the escalating conflict, the Women's Peace & Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) and its partners are mobilizing resources to support women peacebuilders and women human rights defenders responding to the urgent needs of women and girls, ensuring they have access to essential services and are at the forefront of local peace and reconciliation efforts. #WHRDs across the country can apply to our Window for WHRDs, which provides safety grants to cover their urgent protection needs, including relocation and short-term livelihood expenses. Find out more & apply here: https://lnkd.in/dxFqERBy Through its Advocacy Support stream, this Window is also supporting the participation of WHRDs in global dialogues to further their rights advocacy efforts – in #DRC and other crisis-affected countries worldwide: https://lnkd.in/dSqmcFNA Women peacebuilders and local women's rights groups in DRC are also eligible to apply to our #RapidResponse Window to support strategic initiatives that aim to strengthen women's meaningful participation in peace processes related to the conflict in the country: wphfund.org/rrw

  • In just under three weeks of re-entering office, Trump has issued countless executive orders that threaten people’s human rights, dismantle international relations, and pose major repercussions for communities that are marginalized and for global stability and democratic institutions. The culmination of Trump’s harmful policies, executive orders, and authoritarian ideologies unveils a long-term strategy of exclusion, one that dictates who he believes truly belongs in the United States. Politics4Her calls for the fight against white supremacy, systemic oppression, and bigotry. #Politics4Her #Feminism #WomensRights #DonaldTrump #US #HumanRights
