🎉 This holiday season, the PNE team came together in #NewJersey for a memorable celebration, joined by our colleagues from #Dallas. It was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect, share gratitude, and celebrate the accomplishments of the past year as we gear up for an exciting 2025. The celebration continued the next day as we volunteered with HomeFront, an organization dedicated to ending homelessness in Central New Jersey. Our team helped prepare gifts for families, stock shelves, and organize newly donated items, contributing to HomeFront’s impactful mission during the holidays. Giving back to the community is an integral part of who we are at PNE, and it’s inspiring to see the difference we can make when we work together toward a meaningful cause. Wishing everyone a joyful holiday season and a happy, successful New Year! #HolidaySeason #Teamwork #GivingBack #CommunityImpact #Sustainability

PNE's CEO and Co-Founder, Dr. Chao Yan, recently led an engaging discussion at Advanced Automotive Batteries Conference (#AABC) in #LasVegas, titled "Redefining Battery Recycling: The Most Economical and Sustainable Solution." The discussion highlighted how PNE's Direct Recycling technology is transforming the future of battery recycling for chemistries like #NMC, #NCA, and #LFP. This innovative process is revolutionizing the industry by recovering and reusing key materials without compromising quality while addressing challenges like impurity removal and cathode rejuvenation. With sustainability and efficiency at its core, PNE’s approach is paving the way for a greener, more circular future. Dr. Yan was accompanied by Peng Zhao, PNE's COO, and Shawn Turner, VP of Strategic Partnerships, representing the team’s collective vision and innovation. Thank you to everyone who joined us at AABC to connect, share, and explore how innovation is shaping the future of battery recycling. 🌟PNE at MRS Fall 2024: Advancing Critical Material Recycling🌟 Last week, Princeton NuEnergy participated in the MRS Fall 2024 meeting in Boston, MA, at symposium EN10: Critical Materials for Energy—Extraction Functionality and Recycling. This impactful gathering explored innovations in Li-ion battery materials and sustainable recycling methods for critical materials. Our Senior Director of R&D, Dr. Jinyun (Jared) Liao, delivered a compelling presentation on the transformative potential of direct recycling. He highlighted our patented low-temperature plasma-assisted separation (LPAS) process, which dramatically reduces costs, energy use, and environmental impact while paving the way for commercial scalability. Dr. Ryan Andris, our Research Scientist, showcased DOE-supported work in his poster presentation, demonstrating how spent cathode materials can be upcycled into single-crystal morphology and Ni-rich chemistries, matching the performance of pristine materials. We’re thrilled to drive innovation and sustainability in critical material recycling and thank the symposium organizers for this fantastic opportunity. Looking forward to continued collaboration with industry and academic leaders! #Innovation #Sustainability #BatteryRecycling #MRSFall2024

It was a pleasure to attend and support HEVI at their launch event on October 16th at The Watershed Institute in NJ. HEVI unveiled two new all-electric wheel loaders, including the largest commercially available model in the U.S. These impressive machines represent state-of-the-art technology in electric heavy equipment, delivering reduced maintenance costs by up to 60% and eliminating diesel expenses—boosting ROI and providing financial predictability. In addition, HEVI’s partnership with PNE ensures that spent batteries are recycled, contributing to their #ESG goals and offsetting approximately 70 tons of CO2 annually compared to similar-sized diesel models. This approach is not only sustainable but also economical, driving long-term value. Congratulations to Raymond Wang and his team on this incredible milestone!
