'What are 'Hospi-tels'?' In a recent article for Healthcare Facilities Today, PMA's Eric Hoffman, Vice President & Healthcare Sector Lead, and Rhonda Rasmussen, Hospitality Project Director, explain the growing convergence of healthcare and hospitality. With care verticals such as health and wellness taking off since 2020, the demand for residential wellness retreats and medical spas has skyrocketed, and patients in these facilities are looking for more than your average hospital amenities. In the article, Eric and Rhonda discuss how patient and family expectations have shifted, what they're looking for when it comes to long term stays and how hospitals can prepare their facilities for the lodging demands of the future. What's next for the life sciences sector in 2025? After a slowdown in development from COVID-era boom times, the life sciences real estate space is poised for a transformation based on the integration of artificial intelligence, space management and top-tier facility placements. Project Management Advisors Vice President Adam Enright spoke with Commercial Property Executive about how the adoption of AI is necessitating the creation of laboratory facilities with significant storage requirements. “Space needs for dry labs and computing labs will likely be greater than traditional needs. While we haven’t seen marked increases yet, we do anticipate that companies are still learning how to leverage AI—and it is only a matter of time,” he said. Thrilled to have been a part of this exciting project with such an outstanding team! Proud to work alongside Redmond, EUA and The RMH Group, Inc. on the 36,000 SF renovation of Danone North America's facility in Louisville, CO. It was an incredible experience contributing as the Owner's Representative for Project Management Advisors, Inc. on a project that not only reflects Danone's commitment to health, sustainability, and innovation but also showcases the hard work and dedication of everyone involved. Congratulations to all on a job well done!
Redmond recently teamed with Project Management Advisors, Inc., EUA, and The RMH Group, Inc. to complete the 36,000 SF renovation of Danone North America's facility in Louisville, CO. As one of the largest food and beverage companies in the world, Danone's refreshed workplace features bold branding to reflect its commitment to health, sustainability, and innovation. Redmond's scope involved reconfiguring the reception area at the building's main entrance, along with creating an outdoor terrace that features wood pavers, railings, and a steel-structured pergola. Additional interior upgrades included fully glazed Wilson Aluminum frames and sliding office fronts for office and conference rooms. Redmond also installed new workstations and renovated several collaboration areas, conference rooms, and the breakroom. With Danone's facility remaining occupied for the project's duration, our team was tasked with completing construction while minimizing disruption. Critical laboratory systems for Danone's Research & Innovation team were located within our scope of work, and the Redmond team had to coordinate construction activities around this equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations. This required close coordination with the client and trade partners, as well as continuous communication to minimize downtime for Danone's lab and test kitchen. Amazing work by the Redmond team of Giacomo Tusa, Joe Cortese, and Frank Floss on successfully bringing this project to the finish line! Photography Credit: James Ray Spahn
