On this Thanksgiving week, we are thankful for the sorted polypropylene (PP) bales we’re getting out of our new sorting facility in Denver, PA. The technology in Denver can upgrade the bales to anywhere from 90-95% PP.

Last week our Director of Product Technology, Rabeh Elleithy attended the AMI Plastics World Expos in Cleveland, OH. While there Rabeh spoke alongside Clayton Dennis from our partners at Milliken Chemical to discuss how we're improving the impact properties of recycled polypropylene. ♻️

On America Recycles Day, we wanted to share where PureCycle fits into the plastics recycling space. Our plastic-to-plastic recycling technology uses a form of dissolution recycling to separate color, odor, and impurities from polypropylene plastic waste and transforms it into our PureFive™ resin.

Inside PureCycle is back! On this episode, we're taking you into our state-of-the-art Research and Development Lab in Durham, NC. You'll get to meet our incredible R&D team and learn more about how our lab is helping create further advancements to our purification process. 🔬

This was the FIRST bale of plastic ever run through our brand-new sorting facility in Denver, PA. This facility can process more than 22,000 pounds per hour and helps to provide Ironton with bales that have a higher concentration of polypropylene. The other materials are sent to fellow recyclers to keep more items out of the landfill and our environment.
