One Goal: A Pure Planet
About us
PureCycle's patented purification recycling technology, developed by The Procter & Gamble Company, is designed to transform polypropylene plastic waste (designated as No. 5 plastic) into a continuously renewable resource. Our unique purification process removes color, odor, and other impurities from No. 5 plastic waste resulting in an ultra-pure recycled (UPR) plastic that can be recycled and reused over and over again, changing our relationship with plastic.

We love getting the opportunity to engage with the next generation of professionals and share about PureCycle's innovative recycling technology.
Driving innovation success + startup traction for founders & intrapreneurs with 4E's proven methodology
I am excited and thankful for a great look into Advanced Plastics #Recycling two weeks ago: My 17 environmental science/studies seniors at UNC-E3P and I were excited to hear the very engaging company presentation of Dr. Joseph Sarver, the R&D Research Center Manager of PureCycle Technologies. Purecycle has commercialized a dissolution (physical) recycling process focused on #PP (#polypropylene, the #5 plastic). ♷ The class learned a lot about recycling technology, business, commercialization, regulations and other driving forces in the market, as well as barriers and enablers of the #circulareconomy. Thank you Joey and Tamsin Ettefagh (CSO) for your very energetic and constructive engagement with our students, and Dustin Olson (CEO) for your support of this experiential learning, project-based capstone class around your fascinating company! The class is looking forward to visiting your facilities soon and contributing useful business-technology insights by the end of the semester. 🧑🏻🔬 #environmentalscience #polymers #plastics #plasticsrecycling #recycling #advancedrecycling #rPP #circulareconomyofplastics #circularplastics #Capstone #E3P | University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

It's a new year so it's time for a new Pure Spotlight! This month we're featuring Equipment Operator, Scott Redcay from our Denver, PA sorting facility. • What does your role entail at PureCycle? o My role is an equipment operator and most of my days are spent operating the balers or doing any other task that needs to be done to keep the plant running smoothly. • How long have you worked at PureCycle? o I've been with PureCycle for 5 months. • What do you enjoy about working at PureCycle? o I enjoy working with my fellow coworkers and enjoy being a part of a company that's making a difference. I love to go kayaking and work in my yard while at home. • With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, who’s your Valentine and how do you plan to celebrate? o My wife and I don't usually make a big deal over Valentines Day, but just going out to eat any time with my wife is a holiday since our kids are grown.
