One Goal: A Pure Planet
About us
PureCycle's patented purification recycling technology, developed by The Procter & Gamble Company, is designed to transform polypropylene plastic waste (designated as No. 5 plastic) into a continuously renewable resource. Our unique purification process removes color, odor, and other impurities from No. 5 plastic waste resulting in an ultra-pure recycled (UPR) plastic that can be recycled and reused over and over again, changing our relationship with plastic.

This month for Pure Spotlight we're featuring Director of Joint Venture Development, Felix Banuchi. • What does your role entail at PureCycle? o I wear many hats, but I primarily focus on expanding the global footprint of the company, raising capital and driving projects that can improve our position in the marketplace. • How long have you worked at PureCycle? o 3.5 years. • What do you enjoy about working at PureCycle? o I really enjoy working with an incredibly talented team trying to solve a really tough problem that is globally massive. It's also nice that my mom thinks I'm doing something good for the planet. • What do you like to do when you’re away from work? o Being a volleyball parent means you don't get a ton of free time, but I enjoy personal fitness and well-being and like to travel to explore cultures around the world. • Q: With Thanksgiving happening last week, do you have any Thanksgiving traditions? o I've always loved Thanksgiving because it's a great way to celebrate with family and friends around some of my favorite dishes that is best to eat sparingly. It's especially rewarding to discover new recipes with my daughter to see how we can make it better each year.
