🚀 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁'𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗜 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵: 𝗣𝗵𝗶-4 𝗚𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗅 Microsoft's compact yet powerful Phi-4 language model is now freely available on Hugging Face under the MIT license. Unlike its resource-hungry counterparts, this 16k context window model runs efficiently on consumer hardware while outperforming larger models on STEM tasks. What sets Phi-4 apart is its innovative training approach using synthetic data generated through multi-agent prompting and instruction reversal, trained on approximately 10 trillion tokens.
