Yesterday, Related Midwest celebrated the groundbreaking of 400 Lake Shore’s phase one with more than 200 guests, including city and state elected officials, project partners, labor leaders and community stakeholders. The two-tower residential development will bring luxury and affordable housing options to Streeterville on the last waterfront site where Lake Michigan meets the Chicago River, as well as 4.5 acres of open and green space which includes the completion of DuSable Park and Founder's Way.

Last Friday, Related Affordable's Day of Service brought together employees with New York Restoration Project’s staff members to help care for native trees and enhance NYC's Sherman Creek Park along the Harlem River Greenway and bike trail. Volunteers prepared mature tree beds by spreading mulch, weeding and cleaning up litter, which will protect and strengthen the trees for the summer season to be enjoyed by both visitors and wildlife.
