Our Saint-Gobain Asia-Pacific CEO Ludovic Weber and our Saint-Gobain Sekurit APAC GM Eloi Guenet hosted a press conference to highlight some of our latest innovations! 🔹 🏗 Sustainable Construction: We introduced an advanced gypsum-based plasterboard, designed to capture and destroy formaldehyde and lock VOCs, contributing to healthier indoor environments. 🔹 🛣 Intelligent Cabins for Sustainable Mobility: 🚗 An exquisite single-piece Panoramic roof glass that creates elegant lines and dynamic flowing light increasing ambient lighting in car interiors. 🚘 A Functionalized Windshield enhanced with a special nano-material coating serving as a sophisticated extra-projection display interface, transforming the user experience. 🌏 Sekurit also shared insights about its global footprint with a presence in 20 countries and 34 manufacturing sites across the globe, emphasizing our support for the international growth of Chinese car manufacturers. 🌍 At the occasion of the CIIE 2024 (China International Import Expo), Saint-Gobain Asia-Pacific was glad to attend the Sino-French Climate Forum, in the presence of Ms Sophie Primas, French Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and organized by CCI FRANCE CHINE, the Embassy of France in China , and Business France, where Ludovic Weber, our CEO for Asia-Pacific region shared our exciting insights to decarbonize construction industry in front of 450 officials and experts from various industries and followed by more than 350,000 internet users. 🏗️ Did you know that the construction sector is responsible for nearly 40% of global carbon emissions? Saint-Gobain CHAIRMAN & CEO'S JOURNEY IN CHINA We are thrilled to share highlights from our Group Chairman & CEO's recent visit, Mr. Benoit BAZIN to China! Benoit Bazin, together with Noémie Chocat, VP Strategy, engaged in a comprehensive tour of our manufacturing sites focusing on #sustainable #construction and industrial solutions. His journey included in-depth exchanges with our dedicated teams, valuable meetings with our customers and warm encounters with government officials, underscoring our commitment to #performance, #innovation, and #collaboration. A notable highlight was his appearance on Shanghai Dragon TV, where he articulated our vision for sustainable construction in the Yangtze River Delta to reach Carbon Neutrality by 2060. During his visit, he explored sites specializing in #plaster and #plasterboards, #ceramics, #adhesives and #sealants, and #abrasives, demonstrating our deep expertise and industry-leading practices in sustainable construction, new energy, and green transportation.
