When communities come together, amazing things happen. During October, our incredible guests stepped up in a BIG way, donating in the drive-thru and with their online orders to support Salad and Go Charities. Thanks to their generosity, we raised over $170,000 to directly benefit local meal programs in the communities we serve. We are truly blown away by the kindness of our guests and excited about the impact Salad and Go Charities can make in creating meaningful change. Salad and Go Charities kicked off a strong start in Dallas this October, donating 250 nutritious meals to support the incredible work at Jubilee Park & Community Center! Volunteers built fresh salads to donate high-quality, nutrient-rich foods to people facing food insecurity in the local community. It's been an exciting first month for Salad and Go Charities, a newly founded nonprofit dedicated to providing nutritious food and youth education to underserved communities. A New Leaf is excited to spotlight Salad and Go Charities, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing nutritious food and youth education to underserved communities. This collaboration ensures that every family in our shelters has access to healthy meals, and provides relief for families who may be worrying about where their next meal will come from.
