This is a part-time opportunity offering $20/hour for 5 hours per week. Finals are around the corner — how are we supporting student mental health? As stress levels rise, many students face compounding challenges, from academic pressure to unmet basic needs like food and housing insecurity. A recent survey found that 85% of college students say stress impacts their ability to focus, learn, and perform academically, with nearly 30% rating their mental health as fair or poor. At SBNC, we know that addressing basic needs is critical for mental health. Students should feel supported not just in their studies, but in their well-being. That’s why our programs emphasize peer-led initiatives and holistic resources to help students thrive during tough times like finals.
