Great to see that we are moving forward with discussions on how to actually implement the reuse targets in the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). It was a pleasure to speak at the Smithers Sustainable Packaging Conference last week in Barcelona - and even more exciting to see how the concept of reuse systems is gaining traction! This week, there was a very constructive meeting at DG ENV of the European Commission and other Brussels meetings to discuss reusable transport packaging, also thanks to my colleagues from the Roundtable for Reusable Containers Trays and Pallets (RCTP)and Reusable Packaging Europe (RPE). Last but not least, a bonus picture of my amazing Schoeller Allibert colleagues Cecilia Villanueva Necochea, Ivan Galao, and Stephen Gibson, and me - the four of us, PLUS a reusable crate traveling in an electric Fiat 500! #efficent_use_of_space #sustainability

🌍🎉 Celebrating Our First Worldwide Safety Day Across Schoeller! 🎉🌍 On September 18th, we proudly held our first Worldwide Safety Day across all Schoeller Allibert sites, and it was a tremendous success! Every plant employee took part, engaging in safety workshops that included AED and Accident Management training. To further demonstrate our commitment to safety, members of the Management Board were present at various manufacturing locations. Matthieu Muller, HSE Coordinator, shared a reflection that perfectly captures what safety means to us: "The line between a minor incident and a major accident is often just luck. We’ve all had those moments of thinking, ‘Wow, that was close!’ Coming home safe and healthy after work shouldn’t depend on luck. Safety is a choice, not a chance!"
