This isn’t startup land anymore. This is company building. Congratulations to Cohort 6 of the Capital Readiness Program who began the week as founders and emerged as CEOs. They decelerated, focused, and trusted our process. Hard truths were confronted, stress tests pushed founders to their limits, and vulnerabilities were exposed-- all critical insights necessary to scale a successful business. A big thank you to our Investors-in-Residence who spent the week sharing invaluable expertise and insights to the startups. Their involvement truly sets this program apart, offering startups unparalleled access to the minds of the people writing the checks. Check out MD Ally | 911 Network Navigation featured in Forbes! We are always inspired by Shanel Fields and her team at MD Ally. They've made incredible progress over the years and have been instrumental to communities nationwide! "Fields was inspired to start MD Ally by her father’s work as an EMT volunteer and after learning about the over utilization of the 911 system in low-income communities that also had higher death rates. Wharton Professor Guy David conducted the research. She ended up going to Wharton for her MBA and being mentored by him. This realization sparked her passion for developing a solution for this critical issue by creating more efficient care pathways for those in need. More than half of the folks on our team either have a public safety background or some sort of connection to public safety and bring that experience to bear, as well as working in the healthcare and tech space," she explained. The team’s expertise is critical to the success of the company."

"The lack of consistent data standards poses a major barrier to the exchange of information across stakeholders. As providers and administrators struggle to identify the best next step to meet new standardization rules, they need a strategy tailored to the intricacies of their program, based on their specific data workflows — which might look vastly different state to state.
