Foundational Degree in Popular Music, Bachelors Degree in Popular and Contemporary Music, 5 years as a teacher , 10 years as a professional musician, 3 years as a Drone Pilot, 3 years as a Data Analyst , 3 Years as Product Manager/Customer Success Manager What are your core roles and responsibilities at Sharper Shape? At Sharper Shape, I try to make our customers successful with the solutions that we offer. We have a rather large range of solutions touching many corners of the realm of remote sensing and it’s my responsibility to ensure that users have as soft a landing as possible when undertaking their complex projects in the utility space. What do you enjoy the most about working in the power/utilities sector? Ahh! So many things. I love learning 📚 and teaching. The utility sector is slow to adapt to new technologies and why not? They have a hundred-year long history of walking their power lines and fixing only when things are broken. 🛠️ I love seeing users wake up to the future of large-scale data insights informing their organizations in transformative ways. From linemen and women ⚡ to project staff and management – the utility sector is really stepping up their game. What excites you most about the new Asset Insights module? Personally, I am really enamored with the way we’ve levelled up our system. I think of Asset Insights and its future as a machine that can’t help but improve itself as time goes on while your regular work provides inspection results today! It’s really a super exciting time to be at Sharper Shape. 🎉 Imagine any time your inspector notices a fault with a component in an image, CORE can automatically utilize their results as training data for the next batch of defect classifiers! Wow! What are your hobbies outside of work?  Outside of work, I play guitar 🎸 a lot as well as video games! I have a 16 month old baby who is in an incredibly fun place right now (❁´◡`❁) What book are you reading/podcast are you listening to/TV show are you watching at the moment?  🎙️Always Marc Maron’s WTF podcast as well as If Books Could Kill, another podcast. 📺For TV – I Think You Should Leave has become a constantly quoted staple of my household and I can’t wait for another season.
