About us

The Society of Entrepreneurs was founded in 1991 to foster the development of the entrepreneurial spirit, and to recognize the myriad contributions of area entrepreneurs. The Society of Entrepreneurs’ membership comprises Mid-South business owners, presidents and other key executives. Members are chosen annually by their peers, and must be mature (not emerging) entrepreneurs who have exhibited personal business achievement, creativity, determination, integrity, leadership, self-direction and the ability to transform a vision into a dynamic business accomplishment. The organization’s purpose is to promote the general welfare of the community, contribute to the public good, and foster education. The Society of Entrepreneurs supports the creation, development, and implementation of programs that encourage the efforts of entrepreneurs in businesses, and in local, national and international communities.

  • "For me, EOS has been a complete game-changer. When we first started implementing it, I realized how much clearer everything became—not just for me as a leader, but for our entire team. It helped us define a shared vision, create focus, and build accountability into everything we do.  If you’re a leader who feels like your business has great potential but is stuck in the chaos of misalignment, inconsistent execution, or unclear priorities, I truly believe you should attend this meeting and explore EOS. It doesn’t just help you grow—it helps you grow in a way that’s sustainable, with a team that’s engaged and aligned. I’d encourage you to attend and see how this system can help your business move from good to great. It’s been transformational for us, and I think it could be for you, too."       Sridhar Sunkara, CEO of Ebiz on why you should attend the Roundtable meeting on December 12th with Sophia Cole. Hope to see you there!
