AI can think, it can sing and paint, it can even cook. But it can’t eat like Chef Wendy Zeng Ate.
Storyteller + Content Creator + Writer + PR Consultant + Community Connector 💮 Where culinary meets cannabis in unexpected ways
What wendy zeng said... Culinary cannabis is not all about getting people high. We create experiences for people to feel empowered and form new associations around the plant. Sonoma Hills Farm is a full circle farm to table chef's playground, a one-of-a-kind weed and wine country dream.

As the southern gateway to the Emerald Triangle, our region offers visitors a fresh perspective on cannabis, shaped by the same rich climate and soil that define our wines. This emerging facet of Sonoma County’s hospitality scene invites visitors to explore cannabis culture in an intimate, boutique setting. Guests can enjoy thoughtfully curated experiences that highlight the connection to nature and terroir—from farm visits to guided tours focused on cannabis strains and sustainable growing practices, all led by knowledgeable local experts dedicated to quality and innovation. What is happening in Sonoma County is nothing short of a revolution in hospitality. The intersection of cannabis, dining and wine. This video from Sonoma County Tourism just dropped, proving Sonoma’s commitment to this industry. Joyce Cenali Mike Harden Shauna Harden Mine + Farm, LLC

We invest a lot of time and energy into some cultivation and cure processes that arguably have no specific quantifiable impact. That extra effort extends into how we design our packaging, photgraph our flower, trim our flower and even plow our fields and feed our animals. It is nice when someone gets it and shares with others. Shout out to the Budist for leading and educating cannabis connosieurship. Joyce Cenali Mike Harden Shauna Harden

There is a reason we call it the Sonoma Hills Farm family meal!!! You know Chef Telmo Faria’s food is good when its labor inducing. Congrats to Lauren Carpenter and the Embarc family!!!
I’ve been a little quiet of late – and was bummed to miss everyone at Meadowlands, Benzinga etc. But I was busy having a baby! Little Emery joined us about a month ahead of schedule. She's beautiful and healthy. I'm tired but great. (I’ll respond to those unanswered calls/emails/texts/carrier pigeons soon, I promise!) But I have to tell you how it all happened! About two weeks ago we had a team outing to Sonoma Hills Farm. There were about 40 of us there. It was a blast. (If you’ve never been, you *have to* go. It’s a utopian vision of cannabis agriculture which, in a perfect world, would be the norm not the exception…) We spent the day exploring the land, meeting the animals, the gorgeous plants, and eating the most beautiful lunch. I was of course extremely pregnant. During lunchtime I talked with the team about how far we’ve come this year and what lies ahead. I also passed the baton to a few folks to cover while I planned to be out. And then, right as the trimming competition starts… I basically go into labor. With the entire team. On the farm. Oops! So if anyone ever questions my bona fides in this industry I’ll ask them: — How many times have you gone into labor on a cannabis farm?? ~ ~ I’m doing my best to take maternity leave, but I miss the team and have FOMO already. There’s a lot to say and a lot to share, so I’ll use this time to be on here more frequently. Thanks to everyone who reached out ❤️ p.s. You can already tell Emery's going to be a serious festival kid 😂 🤘

So many thoughts from such an inspiring experience at Hall of Flowers but the real highlight for me was the friends and family brunch the day after at Sonoma Hills Farm where I got to see the Aaron Keefer fine dining dab bar of the future using the ZenCo vaporizers with fresh botanicals and wax using sun grown #cannabis, plus a look at all the cool #chef collaborations including an infused herbs de provence salt from Chris Cosentino and custom strains for Humphrey Slocombe and Lazy Bear!
