Contractor safety is becoming an increasingly important topic and is set to be a key focus for EHS leaders. Organizations choose to work with contractors for various reasons. For some industries, it is a strategic business decision driven by cost-efficiency, as hiring contractors for specific periods often proves more economical. Other sectors depend on contractors for their specialized expertise, especially when performing high-risk tasks. As the workforce shifts toward the contractor base, ensuring health and safety performance becomes a real challenge. Read this blog to learn more about how to prioritize contractor safety to mitigate risk: https://lnkd.in/gPhvBjQb #EHS #RiskManagement #Safety

The Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) will require companies to conduct due diligence on their operations and those of their subsidiaries — as well as in their supply chains — to detect (and remediate) negative environmental, social and governance (ESG) impacts. We’re curious to know if your company will be required to report under the CSDDD. Take our poll and let us know! #Regulatory #CSDDD #Sustainability

Navigating the complexities of chemical regulations is a vital task for businesses today. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has made updates to the de minimis value for certain chemicals (including PFAS chemicals) on the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) list recently published. If you are an organization that manufactures any products that require an SDS and you have any of the listed chemicals in those products, you must disclose these ingredients and concentrations to your customers. Read this blog to learn more about the changes and what you need to do to be compliant: https://bit.ly/4g29F3W #ProductCompliance #ChemicalManagement #PFAS

The holiday season has a huge impact on the environment. For example, Americans throw away 25% more trash during the period between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day. And with the holiday season well underway, we're wondering: Do you gift sustainably (for example, shop local, buy second-hand, buy sustainable brands, opt for slower shipping, give an experience, etc.) or use recycled or reusable packaging when giving gifts to help minimize your environmental impact? Take our poll and let us know! #Sustainability #Sustainable #Environmental
