A great opportunity for our Founder and MD, Neil Pownall, to present in front of like minded Healthcare professionals at the Care Shop annual conference recently. The theme for the day centred around digital systems, technology and sustainability. With operators Barchester Healthcare, Oakland Care, Forest Healthcare Ltd, Adept Care Homes Ltd and more in the audience, alongside colleagues from Knight Frank, Procter & Gamble and Spectrum Care Purchasing Network, it was a great event hosted by the fabulous Lucy Meacock Sunrise Facilities Management's digital compliance system and market leading #facilitiesmanagement services were well received by the audience, with some new relationships formed over a few drinks at the evening's Halloween Party. Julian Evans told us about tackling polar bears, climbing Everest and surviving the highest, coldest, hottest and windiest of places on earth - all inspired by his friend Matt Hampson OBE Julian from Knight Frank also gave his predictions for care homes and the pressing need for more beds. Simon McCall told us how digital is transforming their services Barchester Healthcare, Steve Lenihan gave us an insight into the digital solutions on offer. Neil Pownall talked about the importance of compliance Malcolm Hague told us how Oakland Care is ahead of the game prioritising sustainability and the very impressive Shaleeza Hasham spoke about the importance of good working relationships with suppliers.
