  • Calling all Female Product Leaders – Interested in Sharing Your Path? Join Our Upcoming Panel! 📢 We’re thrilled to announce our upcoming event: "Navigating Individual Contributor vs. People Management Paths as a Female Tech Leader". Our aim for the event is to give female product leaders (existing and aspiring) a view into the two different product leadership pathways and to empower them with the knowledge and tools they need to carve their own direction. We’re looking for:  ✨ 2 female product leaders who’ve embraced the people management path (e.g., Head, Lead, Director, VP).  ✨ 2 female product leaders thriving as individual contributors (e.g., Senior IC, Principal, Fellow).  ✨ Bonus: Have you switched between these paths? We’d love to hear about your journey! We are aiming to create a diverse and inclusive panel discussion that allows panellists to speak to the path they have chosen/are currently on, the reasons behind their decisions, and (importantly) what they love/find hard about that path. If this sounds like you, we kindly ask you to answer a few questions by filling the short form here 👉 https://tally.so/r/mJVWY7. If you don’t strictly fit this criteria but would still like to be involved, please shoot us a message. We’d be more than happy to chat. 📍 This is an in-person event taking place at Moorgate, London on the 30th of January, 2025. 🤝 Proudly sponsored by TrueLayer. You can also join us as an attendee here- https://lu.ma/izfg4t7p as we look forward to an afternoon of inspiring stories, actionable insights, and meaningful connections! #thefemaleproductlead

  • We love it when people come up to us and say "That was JUST what I needed", we know that we have then managed to give back to those in the product community just what is needed to: lift them up, give them some inspiration, advice or just reminded them that there are some pretty awesome people who care enough to give up there time and share experiences of how to be EMPOWERED as a female product lead in the tech space. Not always easy, often harder for females to get the recognition they deserve so great to learn new ways to: * Advocate for yourself * Feel empowered to push yourself and your ideas forward * Set goals and structure for your performance * Hold yourself accountable for achieving all of this Some excellent advice and discussion led by Phoebe Sharman from Found By Few who were kind enough to host and run this event with us and thanks to our amazing panelists: Pippa Topp Keira Poland Corinna Lamberti Millie Zah Jane Austin Alastair Preacher We are hosting another of these but virtual NEXT weds 5pmGMT - Join here if you want to come https://lu.ma/n9tdwb0w

Lets talk about Communities. People are always asking me why I invest so much of my spare time to running two totally FREE, volunteer run communities. I believe to my bones that THIS is where it's at, communities are what enable us, what inspire us, what support us through tough times and big challenges. I am honoured to be the founder of two incredible communities made so by the people in them and how they support each other.... not by the simple action of creating them 🤷♀️ 😜 If you are a female product leader and want to give back, get the chance to step onto a platform and be a thought leader, inspire female leaders of tomorrow and be reminded how awesome you are, get your mojo back if you've had a kickin' or just want to meet other awesome female product leaders the please join us at The Female Product Lead which is also for..... Female product leaders of tomorrow - if you are an SPM, Lead PM, GPM pushing into your first leadership role or wanting to know what good looks like in female product leadership then FPL is for you too - you can be mentored formally or ad hoc through the various channels we offer (Slack, WhatsApp, in person or virtual events) - be lifted up, feel inspired, know you have got the support from a community of incredible people - Join Now We have BIG plans for 2025 and want you to be a part of them - we are also recruiting for many volunteer roles in the community so DM me if you want to be a part of our awesome and ever growing team. Now we get to Mental Health and wellbeing of product professionals. We all acknowledge that the role of product is tough, demanding and often leads to burn out. Any and all of the product family are welcome (Product Design, Marketing, Management and Ops) So if you are either someone who struggles with mental health and wellbeing OR wants to support those who do then this community is for you, Join us Product Mind Community to be a part of creating the change in how we both talk about MHW and how we find the path to surviving and thriving with these challenges. Both communities are FREE now and FREE FOREVER We create a safe space for people to come and find the support and connections they need
