    You may have already seen the new Folgers 1850 packaging on shelves, but do you know what gets us most excited about this scoopable new box shape? It is recyclable, environmentally friendly, made with a minimum of 80% paper fiber and is estimated to eliminate over 30,000 pounds of non-recyclable packaging annually! Our packaging goals are based on three principles: support recycling, source sustainably and optimize design. We’re excited to add this innovative packaging to the portfolio.

    Today, we’re excited to highlight Ali Brown, who spent time this year donating blood stem cells to a recipient across the world after being on the donor list for over 15 years! Ali joined Be The Match (now renamed National Marrow Donor Program) while she was in college, was finally matched with a leukemia patient in December of 2023 and donated in May of 2024. She is inspired by the profound impact one can have on another’s life by making a seemingly simple commitment. Please join us in thanking Ali for her charity and volunteerism!

    Recently, we were fortunate to have I Promise School junior and senior students visit our Orrville headquarters to learn more about The J.M. Smucker Co. and future career opportunities. Students received a tour of our corporate campus and rotated through informational sessions in our Innovation Center where they learned about the roles, responsibilities and career paths within fields such as Marketing, Trends & Foresights, Research & Development, Foodservice, Human Resources and Operations. Thanks to the students and staff from I Promise School for joining us for an extra special day at the office!

    Yesterday marked an exciting day for our Uncrustables® business. After years of planning and preparation, our newest manufacturing facility in McCalla, Alabama is now open! We celebrated the milestone with a ribbon cutting ceremony that was attended by state and local officials in addition to Smucker leadership. We’re proud to join the Jefferson County community and look forward to growing the Uncrustables brand together.

    In an imaginative blend of entertainment and advertising, our Milk-Bone® brand's latest campaign consists of movie trailer-style marketing. The first video in the series, Howl You’ll Know, spoofs that meet-cute moment when you find your new fur-ever friend. This new campaign dropped just in time for the brand’s partnership with Amazon through its “Amazon Stream It Forward” program, for a special charity activation to support Canine Assistants. Now through November 17, Milk-Bone will sponsor a curated list of romantic comedies on Amazon Fire TV.
