Final-year BEng Product Design Engineering students from The Glasgow School of Art, led by their lecturer Nick Bell, participated in an insightful DfM (Design for Manufacture) session. The event included an information session with Craig Lynn and Jonathan Campbell from Product Design Agency filament pd ltd in thebeyond, offering students a closer look at real-world product design challenges and industry insights. Looked like a great session!

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the UK to host an inspiring event showcasing how Swedish businesses are driving progress across Scotland — from green energy to cutting-edge tech! Earlier this week, we had the privilege of hosting an incredible global investor showcase with Sustainable Alpha, Scottish Development International (SDI) and Filament STAC - Smart Things Accelerator Centre, bringing together investors and trailblazing companies committed to shaping the future. This event offered a unique platform for 11 inspiring companies from STAC's cohort to showcase their groundbreaking work, highlighting Scotland’s vibrant ecosystem in sustainability, health tech, robotics, and beyond. Each company brought something unique to the table, exemplifying the quality, diversity, and forward-thinking spirit driving innovation in Scotland.
