THRC researchers Elizabeth Ekren, Maria Tomasso, and Melinda Villagran recently published a paper in the journal Sustainability that used machine learning algorithms to explore key components of #resilience based on research in 24K published studies on the topic. The results show how resilience relies on convergence to connect people and resources before, during, and after adversity. Resilience can be thought of as “bouncing forward” to something better after challenges, rather than merely “bouncing back.” To highlight the capabilities of other #AI-powered tools, we also created a short podcast with Google’s NotebookLM to share the paper’s key insights! We’re excited to introduce Understanding Indicators of Mental Health (UIMH), a Virtual Learning Network hosted by ECHO TXST is set to launch early next month! UIMH was created to spark informed discussions on mental healthcare policy and practice, with a focus on addressing substance use, #suicideprevention, and reducing stigma. Led by an interdisciplinary faculty group, the program promotes cutting-edge research and fosters practical solutions to support healthy, resilient communities.    This is more than a webinar—it’s a collaboration to inspire impactful change in mental healthcare.
