The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals with roots in the Indus region. There are currently 13,000 members, including over 2,500 charter members in 61 chapters across 18 countries. TiE’s mission is to foster entrepreneurship globally through mentoring, networking, education, incubating, and funding. Dedicated to the virtuous cycle of wealth creation and giving back to the community, TiE’s focus is on generating and nurturing our next generation of entrepreneurs. The New Jersey Chapter meets once a month in the Princeton / Edison area. Meetings start with networking over dinner followed by keynote speakers and Q&A sessions. Welcoming Raj Devalapalli to TiE New Jersey! Raj Devalapalli is is a seasoned veteran of the U.S. pharmaceutical industry, in addition to being an entrepreneur, Senior Strategic Advisor and author. Raj has held leadership positions at Becton Dickenson, Warner Lambert and Pfizer, among others. Raj is a cofounder and partner at RiconPharma LLC, MirrorPharma and Ingenus Pharmaceuticals, based in New Jersey. His expertise cuts across product development, global manufacturing, tech transfer, partnerships, and business development. He also serves as an advisor to several start-ups in the pharma and healthcare ecosystem. Raj started his entrepreneurial journey by co-founding RiconPharma in New Jersey in October 2008, acquiring MirrorPharma in October 2010, and merging with Ingenus Pharmaceuticals in 2014. He was the first employee and a co-founder/partner in RiconPharma, which expanded globally with R&D and manufacturing with 500+ employees in New Jersey, Florida, Switzerland and India.
