🚀 WG-105 ‘Unmanned Aircraft Systems’ met this week at the #EUROCAE headquarters to advance the development of standards and guidance documents that enable the safe operation of UAS across all types of airspace, at all times, and for all kinds of operations.   🔍 The work of WG-105 is organised into six Focus Teams, each dedicated to a specific area. The current Focus Areas are: • Detect and Avoid (#DAA) • Command, Control, Communication (#C3) • UAS Traffic Management (#UAS) • Design and Airworthiness Standards • Enhanced RPAS Automation (#ERA) • Specific Operations Risk Assessment (#SORA)   👏 Thank you to the members of EUROCAE WG-105 for your continued dedication and valuable contributions to this important work!

Unifly is Celebrating Two Years of Activity on the Certiflight Project: Advancing Airspace Safety with Blockchain-Backed UTM Solutions! 🚁 This month marks the second anniversary of Certiflight, a project in which Unifly is actively involved that combines #blockchain, #EGNSS, and #IoT technologies to revolutionise flight #safety and #accountability. Launched in 2022, Certiflight is the first Galileo-based U-space service to certify flight tracks for drones and ultralight aircraft, delivering tamper-proof, legally valid flight data. It ensures secure and verifiable tracking, empowering law enforcement, regulators, and operators with trusted data. 🚀 Milestones Achieved:  ✅ April 2024: Successful Test Readiness Review in Prague  ✅ November 2024: Transition to real-world validation with seven testing scenarios, including powerline inspection, agriculture applications, and port surveillance (featuring Unifly’s active involvement). 🌟 Coming Next:  By January 2025, Certiflight will demonstrate its transformative potential across Europe, showcasing seamless integration with UTM/USSP platforms and strengthening airspace safety for future aviation. 💡 Learn more about this innovative project and Unifly’s role in shaping the future of UTM: https://lnkd.in/eYdEb-G4 #UTM #Blockchain #EGNSS #DroneSafety #Unifly

On day 2, Yuki presented “Global #UTM Development: A Key Enabler of #UAM,” highlighting Terra Drone’s pioneering work in developing UTM solutions. He emphasised the strength of our global partnerships, including with Unifly, a leading #UTM provider in our group, and Aloft Technologies. We are committed to creating secure, integrated airspace solutions for drones and #eVTOLs.
