We are celebrating a decade of USAID #WASH investments in #Ethiopia in honor of the 10th anniversary of the Senator Paul Simon Water for the World Act. In the early 2010s, USAID invested in Ethiopia’s underserved lowlands with a focus on improved data for decision-making, professionalized water service delivery, empowered women to take on leadership roles within the sector, and built resilience to cope with severe weather. In 2024 USAID helped: 🚰6.2 million people gain access to drinking water services. 🚾3.9 million people gain access to sanitation services.
