About us
At Vanna Health, we believe that a sense of belonging and engagement in the community is the foundation for improving overall health and wellbeing for individuals with serious mental illness. We help people living with serious mental illness thrive by strengthening the community ecosystem around them. Through innovative payment models and technology, Vanna Health promotes collaboration across existing behavioral health and primary care providers, hospitals, payers, clubhouses and other community based organizations. Additionally, Vanna Health can deploy our own top quality providers and case managers, as needed, in areas where there may be a shortage of resources. Vanna Health was founded in 2021 by a team of mission-driven entrepreneurs, working in close partnership with payers, providers, and community based organizations to promote collaboration and improve outcomes while driving down costs. We are committed to the goal of supporting all individuals with culturally competent care regardless of their race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity. We want to welcome our Community Care Team Lead, Scott! Scott believes in every person’s innate potential to heal. He is driven by the pursuit of mental health and recovery for all. A simple core value of his that he found to be true throughout his various roles is that he always receives more from his daily work than he could ever provide. Although his previous roles varied from education, and residential care, to his latest; the director of a forensic mental health site, his passion lies with the people served, and that is why he's continually drawn to this line of work. He hopes to continue to do his part, break barriers, and witness the growth of our members. Outside of work he also has many passions that keep him grounded, but nothing more than his lovely wife and our two young children, Mikey and Stella. If it piques their interest, he is in. That list includes nature, sports, comedy, fitness, music, and of course, the Green Bay Packers.

“My vision is to make value-based care a practical reality by creating engaging and elegant experiences to inform care decision-making and empower members to get the care they need.” - Ameetha Palanki Ameetha Palanki joins us as our newest VP of Product at Vanna Health where she navigates between care operations, delivery, and data/technology to develop an innovative and integrated system for care decision support and member engagement. Unlike traditional technologists, Ameetha focuses on the human side when formulating the company’s product strategy to inform how data and technology can be leveraged to make effective decisions. The goal is to make technology a seamless, almost invisible, part of the very human process of providing care. Prior to Vanna, Ameetha was a serial entrepreneur and senior C-level leader in multiple startups for the last 20 years in the fields of healthcare, education, and fintech where she defined new categories of product and service that represented greenfield opportunities for those companies. A common thread throughout all these fields is the maniacal focus on the user experience that serve human needs. Her background in leadership and learning development brings a unique perspective when thinking and designing products that are not just delightful, but have purpose.
