I’m excited to announce that our new approach to offering #employeebenefits formally launched this morning. With Beanstalk Benefits, employers across the country can now give employees access and control to build their own Benefits Portfolios. A link to our announcement is below in Comments.
For the first time, employees can:
· Build their own Benefits Portfolios from a suite of high-quality services and solutions covering Mind, Body, Lifestyle, Family and Money.
· Pay for their selections with employer-sponsored or personal accounts.
· Update their Benefits Portfolios throughout the year as their needs change.
Why Beanstalk? The last few years brought a massive proliferation of #digitalhealth, wealth and wellbeing solutions. Increasingly specialized benefits options have the potential to meaningfully improve lives.
Yet they’re severely under-utilized because at the same time, HR teams are shrinking, and we’ve never been in a position where we’ve had so much diversity in the workforce across generations, family makeup, gender, health, wealth, geography and culture. There is simply no way even the most well-meaning employer can sign enough point solution contracts to accommodate everyone and their dependents.
My founding colleagues and I have a combined 75+ years in the benefits industry. We realized that what was missing was a platform that puts the employee in the driver’s seat.
So, we built it. Now, employers of any size can become employers of choice by offering a full benefits suite that employees choose from, all under one simple, straightforward contract.
