Many thanks to the White House Climate Policy Office and the Council of Environmental Quality for bringing this group of energy leaders together this week to discuss the acceleration of #virtualpowerplant (VPP) participation from Federal Buildings. There was clear alignment from representatives from the United States Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), and GSA on the pronounced economic, reliability, and sustainability benefits of #VPPs and receptivity to learning from the private sector on how to onboard thousands of government owned and operated buildings and defense installations at scale. Voltus is poised to use our experience managing over 7 GW of #demandresponse and #distributedenergyresources to assist in this effort and looks forward to further collaboration!
