We were honored to host inspirational kids like Isaac all football season long at Allegacy Stadium! Thanks to Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist for helping us celebrate these wonderful kids and families each Deacon Football gameday. #GoDeacs | #ProHumanitate
Isaac’s resilience shines on and off the field. 💪 Turning nine in February, Isaac has been tackling sickle cell disease since he was one year old. We were thrilled to have him be our honorary coin toss kid with the Demon Deacs last weekend. 🏈🎩 He has spent a lot of time at Atrium Health Levine Children's Brenner Children’s Hospital throughout his childhood, having his spleen removed, and regularly needing blood transfusions. But with the incredible support from his care team, Isaac can enjoy all the things he loves like golf, watching football and building Lego sets. Recently, Isaac got to take midfield with the Wake Forest University football team to join in the coin toss ceremony with a touchdown smile! Thank you, Isaac, for being a champion both on and off the field and for entrusting us with your care.
