Our partner, Propagroup SpA, presented #W2BC at the ECOMONDO - ITALIAN EXHIBITION GROUP in Rimini on 5 November, showcasing our innovative solutions for resource recovery from end-of-life products and materials. 🌟 As part of the “Technological solutions for resource recovery from end-of-life products and materials” event, the team highlighted how waste can be transformed into valuable bio-based packaging and products. Looking ahead, we’re focused on the industrial validation of our demonstrators and enhancing our inkjet systems with bio-based solutions. On 7 November, CITEVE hosted a workshop on Inkjet Printing and Bio-Based Inks, shedding light on the forefront of digital printing in the textile industry. 🌱 Participants gained valuable insights into pre-processing techniques, exploring different pre-treatment types and their impacts on quality and efficiency. The workshop highlighted practical applications and results from the #W2BC project were shared through detailed case studies, illustrating the real-world benefits of these innovations. Led by expert Augusta Silva, the session also provided key takeaways on industry trends, including insights from ITMA 2023, FESPA 2024, and Techtextil 2024. The bio-based products must exhibit similar, or better, mechanical, physical, and chemical properties compared to the existing products, and must be non-toxic and recyclable.
