Compact on Women, Peace and Security and Humanitarian Action (WPS-HA Compact)

The latest WPS-HA Compact Accountability Report is out and reveals alarming trends and significant progress in advancing gender equality in conflict-affected regions. We are thrilled to share that DCAF - Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance, the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP), and the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) have joined the WPS-HA Compact. During the signing event, Thomas Greminger, GCSP Director, delivered the opening remarks, followed by insights from Nathalie Chuard, Director of DCAF, and Tobias Privitelli, Director of GICHD. Special thanks to Ms. Jannicke Graatrud, Minister and Deputy Permanent Representative of the Norwegian Mission in Geneva, who participated as Norway's Compact Board Co-Chair, and Ms. Sofia Calltorp, UN Women’s Director of the Geneva Office and Chief of Humanitarian Action for giving the virtual closing remarks.
