What Makes Innovation Truly Powerful? It's not just about new ideas; it’s about collaboration – the coming together of diverse forces to create something great. At Innovasjonsdagen 2024, we explored this exciting synergy firsthand. The event at Hamar Kulturhus was a celebration of how innovation, especially social innovation, can drive tangible benefits for communities and industries alike. Innlandet region in Norway is a strong example of how transformative innovation can be when rooted in local collaboration and paving the way for international opportunities. This year’s Innovation Day was an inspiring meeting point for sharing ideas, experiences, and knowledge across industries. From small startups to larger enterprises, the focus was clear: how social innovation can shape a better society. The day highlighted three key themes - cooperation, inspiration and knowledge sharing. It was a privilege for Repasdo to stand with Innovasjon Norge, presenting the value of our close cooperation, which goes beyond commercial support to mentorship, guidance, and access to invaluable resources. Together, we’ve showcased the progress made since day one, and we are proud of the journey we’ve had so far. As we shared our journey, it became clear that the true value of innovation lies in fostering connections that lead to lasting, positive change. 🤝 A big thank you to all the keynote speakers for their thought-provoking contributions: Thomas Seltzer: Explored the potential opportunities and threats posed by artificial intelligence in his humorous yet insightful talk, “KI: Benign Giga Brain or Destructive Death Star?” Roger Finjord: Offered unique insights into human relationships and team building with “The Search for the Good Team,” strengthening both team spirit and individual motivation. Hildegunn McLernon and Felix Breitschädel: Shared their collaborative story between Olympiatoppen and Kongsberg Maritime, demonstrating how industries can create value through partnerships. We are proud to be part of this vibrant innovation ecosystem in the Innlandet region and look forward to continuing our work in promoting sustainability and transparency through digital solutions. Lastly, a special thanks to Beate Follestad, our project manager at Innovasjon Norge Innlandet, for giving us the honour of presenting our collaboration on stage. Interesting panel discussion with Marina Ivasic-Kos, Dirk Van Rooy, Ali Anwar, PhD, Stephanie Maes, Sasa Zelenika and Jurij Mirnik - Port of Koper (Luka Koper). It is inevitable that new #Research & #development will make its way into ports and on board of ships. Point is to train and familiarise people with that new tech, its potential & its risks. #inno2mare #humanfactor

Yesterday our Digital Innovation Community met in Essen at BRYCK.COM. Our topic was the renaissance of open innovation. Thank you very much TÜV NORD GROUP for hosting the event and the great insights from Matthias Vaterrodt, innoTANK and Jessica Sellmann, Evonik how you're approaching open innovation in your companies. Three insights: 🚨Open innovation celebrates a renaissance, because it leverages synergies to save resources and time – crucial in todays complex, volatile and tense economic situation. 🚨Open innovation has grown-up – collaboration is going far beyond networking and ideation, with concrete results and business impact. 🚨We see new 'horizontal' cooperations popping-up – companies are collaboration more and more even within the same industries. What are your experiences and formats for open innovation?

Our CEO, Lena Miranda, reports from this year's Innovation Parlament, the annual branch conference for Sweden's innovation ecosystem. Courage, collaboration, and implementation power are central to meeting the challenges of the new industrialization. The event held in Boden and Luleå was an energy boost, showcasing the optimism, visions, and ambitions driving future industrial developments, particularly in green transformation. Collaboration is a key to success, with industry and society working together to navigate transitions and growth. During the conference, we extensively discussed the challenges of attracting talent to northern Sweden. This issue necessitates a shift in mindset among those in southern Sweden, highlighting the crucial role of stakeholders like you in supporting the industrialization of the north. It underscores the importance of innovation environments as catalysts for new ideas and processes, a challenge that we, as a country, must collectively address. We need the right competitors for the whole country, and your support is invaluable in this endeavour. Read the full article at the link.

Visiting Munich not only to drink but also to explore technology with nexxworks and EXPO REAL (Messe München). Just had an exciting time serving as a jury member for the EXPO REAL Impact Awards 2024! I reviewed 12 submissions, but I couldn't help but feel that more focus is needed on initiatives with community or social impact—especially after also missing initiatives on that field at the Brussels Realty event. Many of the submissions were SaaS products solving problems that already have solutions or, frankly, seemed like a solution in search of a problem. One standout for me was Paebbl, which is tackling a major challenge: the use of carbon negative raw materials as we approach our sustainability limits. This is exactly the type of big-picture solution we need. Let's focus on solving the real, large-scale problems—we seem to be putting a lot of effort into the last 20%, while the largest 80% impact - our use of raw materials) still demands our attention. A huge thank you to Dirk Paelinck and the European PropTech Association for organizing the event so efficiently and for shining a light on startups making real impact. 🙌 Backed by leading industry partners and European institutions, the Impact Awards are set to become the benchmark for recognizing meaningful change in the sector. Let's tackle the big challenges together and drive meaningful innovation for a better future! 🌍 #ImpactAwards #PropTech #Innovation #Sustainability #EXPOREAL #CommunityImpact

Big ideas, bigger connections: What I learned at Oslo Innovation Week’s amazing kickoff. Huge shoutout to Oslo Innovation Week and Mesh Oslo and the incredible organizers for an unforgettable opening night! 🙌 It was my first time attending, and I can already say—it won’t be my last! Meeting so many brilliant minds left me inspired. We live in such an exciting time where innovation is moving at breakneck speed. Think about it: A few years ago, most of us could only dream about the tech we’re using today. Now, it’s everywhere, changing industries and driving progress in ways we couldn’t have imagined. Here are my 3 takeaways from the event: ➡️Innovation sparks when great minds come together ➡️Technology is only as powerful as the people behind it ➡️Community is EVERYTHING This event was a powerful reminder that staying curious and connecting with others is key to thriving in this rapidly evolving landscape. The conversations I had yesterday only confirmed it — the future is NOW.

Today I'm participating in Sweden Innovation Days, where I look forward to gaining new insights and case studies from one of the world's strongest #ecosystems for innovation. This year, the focus is on innovating for #resilience. #Sweden has long been recognised for its vibrant #innovation ecosystem, and one aspect that particularly interests me is the building of ecosystems across corporate companies, deep tech startups, universities, and funding agencies. In my work, I'm focusing on fostering collaboration across stakeholders to address pressing challenges. 📌Are you curious about building resilient systems and reducing the climate impact of supply chains? 📌How does growth and profitability correlate with sustainability? 📌How can we use technologies like #cleantech, #biosolutions, #quantumtech or #AI to drive innovation and sustainable practices? I'm excited about the lineup of speakers, which represents a strong setup of thought leaders and industry experts: Beata Wickbom Joakim Skog Ylva Strander Niklas Laninge Minna Sandberg Regina Summer Rémy Kolessar Caroline Asserup (Hellberg) Anna Hammarberg Britta Fängström Ebba Busch Benjamin Horton Lisen Schultz Darja Isaksson Johan L Kuylenstierna Robert Andrén Marie Claesson Lotta Henrysson Martin Sangve Malin Wilson Anders Berger Fredrik Dolff Roger Göthberg Claes Johansson Wilma Emanuelsson Mikael Prytz Ylva Hansdotter Lars Hammarström Ebba Carbonnier Jules Besnainou Erika Sundell Jenny Gustafsson David Jonason Jakob Hellman Isabelle Sjövall Maria Brogren Eva Nahari Helena Bjarnegård, and more. https://lnkd.in/dHZaknsB
