The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, driving financial strategy, operational excellence, and business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in startups and consulting, combining financial acumen with hands-on operational experience. The CFO will oversee financial planning, fundraising, risk management, and compliance while fostering a data-driven decision-making culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s short- and long-term goals.
Partner with the CEO to provide insights and recommendations on scaling the business, fundraising, and market opportunities.
Serve as a key advisor on M&A, partnerships, and international expansion strategies.
Financial Planning and Management
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to ensure transparency and accountability.
Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and operational metrics, proactively addressing challenges.
Optimize the capital structure and manage investor relations.
Operational Excellence
Oversee accounting, financial controls, and compliance frameworks.
Drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness across all financial and operational activities.
Implement robust financial systems and tools to support scalability and data-driven decision-making.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, board members, and financial institutions.
Ensure timely and accurate communication of financial performance to stakeholders.
Team Development
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team.

Qualifications
Experience
10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including roles in startups and/or consulting firms.
Proven track record of raising capital (e.g., venture capital, private equity, debt financing).
Hands-on experience with financial operations, scaling businesses, and navigating high-growth environments.
Background in M&A, strategic partnerships, and complex financial transactions is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
