Project and Financial Business Manager

We're looking for a Project and Financial Business Manager (m/f/x) to lead the development of a global budget management system for our department.

Job Details:

• Contract Length: 12 months, with the view to extend
• Workload: Full-time (40 hours/week)
• Location: 100% remote (Europe)
• Travel: Not required
• Interviews: One MS Teams interview (second round may be required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Budget Management: Ensure financial operations align with organizational objectives and summarize actuals for Europe using SAP systems.
• Governance & Innovation: Enhance financial governance and implement process innovations using industry best practices.
• Performance Optimization: Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to drive effective financial performance.
• Project Support: Manage contracts, schedule project-related meetings, and create final financial reports.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: 5+ years in Finance/IT project management, ideally within the global pharmaceutical industry.
• Expertise: Strong understanding of clinical research, procurement, and financial tools like SAP. Smartsheet experience is a plus.
• Qualifications: PMP certification and/or formal training in project management is preferred.
• Skills: Proven ability in financial management, data analysis, dashboard reporting, and technical solution implementation.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self-Starter: Adept at navigating complexity and delivering results independently.
